Intellectual Freedom Award

The Intellectual Freedom Award recognizes the contribution of an individual or group who has actively promoted intellectual freedom in Texas. The award will be presented at the TLA annual conference in the spring.

You will be able to attach a file compiling support for the nomination at the end of this form. Accepted formats are doc. pdf, rtf, and xls. Information to support the nomination could include:

    The role they have played in actively promoting intellectual freedom in their sphere of influence and beyond
    The degree to which they exemplify the spirit of intellectual freedom
    The impact that their efforts to promote intellectual freedom have made

Attach a document compiling supporting evidence and appropriate statements regarding your nominee's qualifications for the Intellectual Freedom Award. Doc, rtf, xls, and pdf formats are accepted. Contact with questions or concerns.
