Parking at the George R Brown Convention Center - update on parking rates

We just received an announcement from the George R Brown Convention Center in Houston that effective March 1, parking rates will increase. Here is the text of their press release:

"Effective March 1, 2012, daily event parking rates will increase at the George R. Brown Convention Center surface parking lots, Convention District parking in the underground garage at Discovery Green and the parking garage at the Hilton Americas-Houston.

Rates will increase from $7 to $10 at the surface lots, from $10 to $12 at the Convention District parking, and from $18 to $19 at the Hilton.

This adjustment will ensure our rates remain competitive while continuing to provide value to our clients and customers. This is the first rise in rates in at least six years."
