Have you been told by your administrators that you can’t go to conference this year? If you are in a school library, this might be the case. STARR testing is that week and administrators are reluctant to let any staff off during the test for any reason. It’s understandable they would need everyone in the building during such an important time. However, conference is important, too. If you read the previous post, you know the great reasons why you should come. Some of these might not translate well to administrators, like shopping.
