The renowned TLA Annual Conference welcomes almost 8,000 librarians, authors, publishers,  and industry experts in a four-day professional learning extravaganza. From the latest reads to a wide array of information topics, the TLA conference explores issues of prime interest to the library field. Emmy Award winner LeVar Burton (Roots, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Reading Rainbow) is a longtime advocate for reading who launched RRKidz, a digital educational publishing company in 2012. Ten time Emmy Award winner Al Roker of the Today show discusses his recents works, which include The Storm of The Century and Been There, Done That: Family Wisdom For Modern Times. The ever-entertaining creator of Captain Underpants and Caldecott Honoree, Dav Pilkey delivers his message of "Reading Gives You Superpowers." Gene Luen Yang is critically-acclaimed for graphic novels, which include American Born Chinese and Boxer & Saints, a National Book Award finalist and Printz Honoree.
