Commerce Street is Market Square (El Mercado), the largest Mexican marketplace outside of Mexico.

Antonio Conservation Society where you can obtain brochures illustrating a

Texas Star Trail, 79 historic locations marked with

The Steves
Homestead, an elegant
three-story mansion built in 1876 for Edward Steves,
founder of the Steves Lumber Company, is open from
10 am to 4:15 pm daily. Take the trolley and
have breakfast or lunch at the Guenther
House.

Just south of downtown is Southtown,
featuring historical houses and an eclectic blend of
shops, galleries, and restaurants in the King
William, Lavaca, and Blue Star neighborhoods. Don't
miss the Blue Star Arts Complex that includes the
Blue Star Contemporary Art
Center and the Blue Star Brewing
Company.
