200+ programs and workshops, featured speakers and authors from across the nation, and the 700+ booths in the Exhibit Hall make a TLA annual conference a must-attend event for the library community. This first conference of the new century focused on community awareness and involvement; special events included local school entertainment, author readings, storytelling, career day activities, and an opera performance.
