Go to www.usps.com and select Click2Mail. Simply create your pre-show promotion letter in a word-processing program. Then follow the simple instructions and transmit the letter, along with the database of names you want it to go to. The service merges the letter with the names, and sends them first-class, all for less than the cost of a first-class stamp. I have to say that this service is the best thing to have come along from the post office in years. And it’s sure handy for marketers that want to simplify direct-mail. Not only for pre-show promotion, but you can use it for on-going, year round, promotional campaigns.
