2009 Call for Contributed Papers! |

The TLA 2009 Annual Conference Program Committee seeks contributed papers for the annual conference in Houston, March 31 - April 3. The theme for the conference is Creating Communities of Ideals and Innovation. Of particular interest are papers addressing the topics of user-centered libraries, partnerships and collaboration, outreach, marketing, and accountability. However, we will gladly accept contributed papers on any topic. Share your ideas with colleagues by describing projects and/or research in a paper that can be presented in a 20-minute time period. Presenters must register for the conference. Use this online PROPOSAL FORM to describe the content of the paper you would like to present at the 2009 conference. An abstract of approximately 150 words will be requested. We recommend that you prepare this in a text file from which you can cut and paste when completing the form. Deadline for submission is 12 midnight CDT, Thursday, October 9, 2008. The finished paper – due by 12 midnight CDT, Friday December 5, 2008 – may be sent as an email attachment to:
