Note: DELRT (a TLA round table since 2010) changed its name from Distributed/E-Learning to Distance/E-Learning at Annual Assembly in July 2013.

ARTICLE I: Name

The name of this organization shall be the Distance/E-Learning Round Table (DELRT) of the
Texas Library Association (TLA).

ARTICLE II: Purpose

The purpose of the DELRT shall be to contribute to library service and librarianship by providing
support, continuing education, and professional development opportunities to library staff. This,
in turn, allows library staff members to provide better and more comprehensive services and
resources to the community of distance learners.

ARTICLE III: Membership

Any member of TLA may select membership in DELRT. Officers must be current members
of TLA.
