The Outreach Committee is responsible for liaison with the student chapters of TLA in the library schools of Texas, liaison with TLA divisions, units and districts, and maintaining the New Member Resources wiki.

The Mentor Program Committee coordinates the program by identifying and recruiting mentors and matching new members with an appropriate mentor who will help them learn more about TLA and the library profession. The NMRT Past Chair serves as the Chair of this committee.

The Booth Committee plans the theme and design of the booth, coordinates members to staff the booth at annual conference, and develops information materials to be displayed and distributed at the booth. *Recommended that members of the Booth Committee be able to attend the next year's conference in order to set-up and manage the booth.
