Following the program, Lynn Hambric presented Dr. Jackman with the Texas Reference Source Award for Common Texas Insects. There were approximately 220 at the presentation with about 15 staying for the business meeting. The presentation was "Collaborating for Information Literate Students" from 10:15-11:50 a.m.

Jack Becker, Chair of the Reference Round Table welcomed everyone. The minutes were presented by Sandy Gillman and approved as read.

Jack introduced the new officers for 2001-2002.

Jack introduced the Chair of the Planning Committee, Laura Heinz and thanked Martha Tarlton for her role as Nominating Chair.

Under Old Business, the Reference Roundtable gave a total of $350 to Tall Texans and to the Legislative Committee.
