TLA Annual Conference in Dallas

The Business Meeting followed the RRT presentation, “Reference: What’s Happening in the New Millennium,” that took place from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. Around 200 people attended the program. The RRT Reference Source Award was presented by Patricia Stinson-Switzer to Mary Ramos, editor for the Dallas Morning News, for the 60th edition of the Texas Alamanac, distributed by Texas A&M Press.

a. The Minutes from Business Meeting of March 29, 2001 were approved as read.
b. The beginning and ending balances for RRT for 2001-2002 were announced. The ending fund balance as reported by the Statement of Revenues and Expenditures 7/1/2001 through 2/28/2002 was $7,671.37

III. New Officers for 2002-2003—Tina Oswald:

Linda Draz—Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect
Susan Norrisey—Secretary/Treasurer

DeeDee Rogers gave thanks to everyone for a successful program.
