Tantalize Series
The New York Times best-selling and award-winning author writes fiction for everyone, but she has a particular affection for young readers, from kids to twenty-somethings. Her fiction is noted for its diversity, humor, lyricism, imaginativeness, compelling action, and mid-to-southwestern settings.
The Tantalize series is gothic fantasy and currently consists of five books - Tantalize, Eternal, Blessed, Diabolical and Tantalize: Kieren's Story (a graphic novel).
The Spirit of Texas High School Committee would like to dedicate the first year of the Spirit of Texas awards to Christine McNew, formerly of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission for all her years of work with both the Children’s Summer Reading Club and the Texas Teens Read Program.
