Article I Name
The name of the Association shall be the Texas Association of School Librarians (TASL), a Division of the Texas Library Association (TLA).
Article II Objective
The objective of this Association shall be to promote library services and librarianship in school libraries in Texas and to cooperate in the promotion of general and joint enterprises with the TLA.
Article III Membership
Any person, organization, or institution already a member of the TLA who selects the School Library division automatically becomes a member upon payment of the additional membership dues as provided in the TLA bylaws. Annual dues are applicable to the calendar year.
