The elected officers together constitute the Doo-Wop Council , and are responsible for managing the business of the organization. "Trust us!"

Officers are normally elected at the TLA Annual Conference in April, to take office at the close of Conference and serve a term of one year. Officers come with no warranty, express or implied, and there are no term limitations. On the other hand they don't get paid much -- it balances out.
