Mission, Objectives, and Accomplishments
Mission
- To promote interest in government information
- To improve bibliographic control of government documents
- To improve reference service to documents collections
- To provide opportunities for librarians to share information
- To welcome into our membership any member of TLA interested in government information
Objectives for 2006-2007
- To find new ways to partner with other Round Tables and Divisions of TLA
- To bring new members to GODORT through the Mentor Program
- To combine committees which do "like" work for more streamlined function and to close committees that have served their purpose

- 2007 KIP (Knowledge Is Power) Award - Last winner in 2003
- Reactivated the GODORT Mentor Program
