GODORT Bylaws Revision to be Voted on During 2008 Annual Conference
At the April 2007 TLA Annual Conference, the TLA Bylaws Committee recommended some additional changes to the proposed revisions to the GODORT Bylaws. During the TLA Annual Assembly in June, the recommended changes were presented at the GODORT business meeting and the Executive Committee approved them.
The revised, revised bylaws changes won't be final until approved by a vote of the GODORT membership at the general membership business meeting to be held 4:00-5:50 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, during the TLA 2008 Annual Conference in Dallas. Check the conference program for location.
Members of the TLA GODORT Bylaws Committee are Bennett Ponsford (Texas A&M University), Tom Rohrig (Texas Tech University), and Ellen Simmons (Hardin-Simmons University).
