Partnering for Progress: North Lake Community Library Business Information Program
2004 Library Instruction Project of the Year Award

"Partnering for Progress: NLCL Business Information Program," developed by the North Lake Community Library, has won LIRT's Library Instruction Project of the Year Award. The library is an academic/public library partnership between the City of Irving and North Lake College. The cooperative program is tailored specifically to provide basic and advanced business research strategies to class attendees, which include public patrons and college students. The popular program is also offered on a credit basis for students at North Lake College.
