Minutes of REFERENCE ROUND TABLE
March 17, 1967

	The Reference Round Table met in the Santa Gertrudis 
Room of the Texas Hotel, Fort Worth, at 9 a.m.  Approximately 
120 people attended.
	After an introduction of the officers, the types of 
libraries represented were identified and the guests were 
introduced.  Walter Allen of the Dayton, Ohio Public Library 
presented a summary of the breakfast meeting attended by
 the ALA officers and the RRT officers and invited guests.
	The report of the nominating committee was presented 
by Ann Graves for Jean Schmaus and Lola Rivers Thompson, 
chairman.
	Vice-Chairman and Chairman elect  --   Maxine Johnston,
		Lamar State College
	Secretary-Treasurer  --    Joe H. Bailey, North Texas State
		University
	The report was seconded by Sara Aull.  There was no
opposition and the motion carried.
	There was no old business and no new business.
	Miss Clayton introduced the speaker, Edward Strable, 
Executive Secretary of the Reference Service Division of ALA.
	The new chairman announced the called meeting to follow 
and adjourned the meeting.
