Minutes of the meeting

The meeting was opened by Chairperson Sharlee Jeser at 9:05a.m. with eight 
persons present.

Ms. Jeser began the meeting by announcing that the second edition of TEXAS 
REFERENCE SOURCES would be printed at the expense of the Reference Round 
Table, but that the costs of the printing should be returned through sales. 
Ms. Jeser also announced a communication she received from Jeri Baker con-
cerning a possible affiliation of the Reference Round Table with the Reference 
and Adult Services Division of the American Library Association.

Following these announcements, the members discussed possible program topics 
for the TLA conference to be held in San Antonio.  There was general agree-
ment that "Non-Verbal Comunication" would be a suitable topic and arrange-
ments for a speaker would be pursued by Ms. Jeser.

A discussion was held for the remainder of the meeting on project priorities 
of the Round Table, and a continuation of the "Texas 70 List" was agreed 
upon as ranking as a top priority.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:40a.m.
