COMMITTEE ON SOURCES OF INFORMATION ABOUT TEXAS

REPORT
March 2, 1974

The basic list of sources of information about Texas compiled 
by the TLA-RRT Committee on Cources of Information about Texas 
appeared in the October, 1973 issue of the Texas Library Journal.  
Exhibits and/or presentations of the materials appearing on the
list were given at the meetings of Districts 5 and 8; copies of 
the basic list were also distributed at District 3. I know of 
no other district using the basic list for a district meeting.

It still looks possible that the T.L.A. Publications Committee will 
publish the SELECTED REFERENCE BOOKS ABOUT TEXAS guide presently 
being compiled as a number of the proposed T.L.A. Monograph series.  
The reports of all but three of the subject editors have been 
turned in; the final editing is in process.
