Spring 2008

The Reference Round Table has a number of opportunities for members to get involved. We need volunteers to serve on our committees and to run for offices. This is the time of year when the Chair-elect starts preparing to make appointments to committees and to identify members to be considered by the next Nominating Committee to run for office in the 2009 election. RRT also will have an opening to fill for a newsletter editor. Persons appointed to committees for 2008-2009 will begin their service after the 2008 TLA Annual Conference in Dallas. Appointees will need to be able to attend meetings during the 2008 TLA Annual Assembly in Austin July 8-10 and the 2009 TLA Annual Conference in Houston March 31-April 9. If you would like to be considered for a committee or newsletter editor appointment or would like to run for any officer position, please fill out the online RRT Volunteer Form on the RRT website or email Chair-elect Beth Thomsett-Scott at BScott@library.unt.edu.
