Bluebonnet Award to Lucy Nolan

Lucy Nolan (right) was at the TLA annual conference in Dallas on April 17 to receive the 2008 Texas Bluebonnet Award for her book Down Girl and Sit: On the Road.

A student from each of the 10 library districts in Texas was on hand to visit with Nolan and introduce the book and author at the annual Texas Bluebonnet Award Luncheon. Below, Nolan is shown with the 10 student representatives.
