Goals:

Membership: Improve unit communication and involvement by:

• E-mail/web/print (to members without e-mail) a survey to gather membership input and foster discussion/implementation of ideas.
• Distribute e-newsletter, post on TRGCC website, print to those without e-mail.

Continuing Education:

• Continue relevant programs by:
• Seek membership input on program topics.
• Plan SACO program outside of TLA, as a fund raiser (fee for attendance) and continuing education.
• Chair-elect plan the 2004 conference program

 Continue to update and improve, expand website content and conform to the TLA web guidelines by:

• Update text -- Continue to update cataloging tool links, including ALCTS Cataloging page.
• Create a history page to encompass photos and history
• Update or delete story page.
• Add a page on membership communication with a link to the Members Only Section, TLA page.
• Create page solely for membership input on programs, goals, complaints, praise, etc.

 Review TLA Strategic Plan:

• Determine TRGCC goals necessary to align with larger plan, gather input from membership, implement.
• Establish a Cataloging Mentor Program.
• Establish a Scholarship Program for Library School Cataloging Students.
