TALL Texans Round Table
The June Kahler Berry Scholarship Fund

In the summer of 2003, the TALL Texans Round Table created a scholarship fund in honor of coordinator June Kahler Berry's retirement. The scholarship supports attendance to the TALL Texans Institute. An ad hoc task force was established to plan activities to raise the needed funds.

In spring of 2007, the endowment reached the critical threshold of $25,000, thanks to efforts of the task force and the many TLA members who donated in memory of June Berry. The Texas Library Association thanks everyone who participated in this wonderful project.

The amount of the scholarship is based on the interest earned by the endowment during one year. If the endowment grows larger, the scholarship can also increase.
