SPECTRUM SCHOLARSHIP


Who Is Eligible
In order to receive a TLA Spectrum scholarship the following criteria must be met:

    1. Be an ALA Spectrum Scholar
    2. Be enrolled in an ALA recognized master's degree program in library and information studies at a Texas university.
    3. Agree to work in a Texas library for two years following completion of degree requirements for the master's program.
    4. Be a TLA member.

How To Apply
Complete the following application and submit with verification of enrollment to:

Payment
The award is payable in two equal installments. Upon receipt of application and verification of enrollment for the fall semester, a check for $1,000 will be forwarded. The second payment of $1,000 will be made after receipt of verification of enrollment for the spring semester.
