TLA Divisions

The four divisions represent the different types of Texas libraries:

• The College and University Libraries Division promotes the interests of libraries and librarians in Texas universities and in community, junior, and senior colleges.
  
• The Public Libraries Division provides a forum for communication to all concerned with public library service in Texas.
  
• The Special Libraries Division furthers the activities of the special libraries and librarians in Texas.
  
• The Texas Association of School Librarians provides activities designed to promote library services and librarianship in school libraries in Texas.
