TLA Interest Groups (IG)

These units enable TLA members to organize into areas of emerging interest. Interest Groups may be formed through a petition signed by 60 TLA members and must have at least 50 members per year for a period of three years at which time they become a Round Table.

• Continuing Education Providers IG provides a discussion forum for continuing education providers and staff development personnel in Texas Libraries and systems.
• Disability and Aged Issues IG
• Distributed/E-Learning IG
• Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered IG addresses issues of concern to constituent library staff and patrons.
