The Texas Library Association community is almost 7,000 members strong and growing. Join us to take advantage of valuable member benefits, expand your career opportunities, and support the library profession.

Individual Membership: Librarians, library professionals, and library staff from academic, public, school and special libraries; full-time students; retired librarians; vendors; and trustees, supporters, advocates.

Organizational & Institutional Membership: Libraries and library systems; schools and school districts; other allied organizations.

Corporate Membership: Suppliers receive many benefits.

American Library Association/TLA Joint Student Membership

TLA membership is a calendar year, January 1 - December 31. Basic dues include complimentary membership in one division and one round table or interest group (see TLA Groups). To join additional divisions, add ten percent (10%) to the basic dues for each. To join additional round tables and/or interest groups add five percent (5%)  to the basic dues for each.

TLA accepts American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover/Novus and PayPal. If you want to pay by credit card, joining or renewing online is the easiest option. Your browser will be transported to a secure server where your credit card information will be safe.

Individual, Organizational & Institutional, and Corporate membership forms can be downloaded and mailed with a check to:
