Rebuilding Texas Libraries, One Coloring Book at a Time

***Updated with pricing information.***

The Texas Library Association’s Coloring Book is the newest initiative and fundraiser designed to support TLA’s Disaster Relief efforts. The coloring book will feature artwork from  several illustrators, including fellow Texan Don Tate, as well as award-winning illustrators Judy Schachner, Dan Santat, Denise Fleming, Rosemary Wells, among many others. Curated by Texas librarians, the coloring book will feature over 50 illustrator-sketched canvasses and fun that will appeal to all ages.

TLA’s Disaster Relief Committee is charged with responding to all types of disasters that affect libraries in Texas, raising funds, assisting libraries in disaster preparedness, and evaluating the effect of the grant award. Their goals are to be prepared for statewide emergencies, raise awareness of the grants and online resources, remain alert for disasters affecting Texas libraries, and increase the amount of the Disaster Relief Endowment Fund.

Stay tuned! The coloring book will available for purchase at the Texas Book Festival in October at the TLA booth, and it will be available for pre-order sales beginning at Annual Assembly. All proceeds will go directly into the Disaster Relief Endowment Fund.

The price for TLA's Disaster Relief Coloring Book has been reduced to $20 $10 each (tax included). Reserve your copy, here:
