Announcing the 2x2 Reading List!

AUSTIN - The Texas Library Association is proud to announce the 2018 2x2 Reading List for children ages 2 to second grade. 

“The 2x2 committee read approximately 800 titles this year, which we narrowed down to 20 for the list,” remarks 2x2 Reading List Committee Chair Sara Pope. “We are very proud of our selections, and we worked hard to ensure we have something for all kinds of readers represented on the list. There are princesses and mischief-makers, astronauts and animals, new takes on old stories, and books that answer the 'Who, What, and When' questions.” 


Presenting the 2018 2x2 Reading List:

The 2x2 committee’s charge is to produce a list of 20 recommended books for children, age two to grade two.  The 2x2 reading list is one of several developed by the TLA for readers of all ages. For more information about these lists, including book titles, visit: txla.org/reading-lists
