NEEDED--Support Amendment to House Appropriations Bill
The Texas House of Representatives will consider its version of the
Appropriations Bill on Thursday, March 29. Rep. Abel Herrero of
Robstown has filed an amendment to increase direct aid grants to
libraries in the Library and Archives Commission budget by $1.5 million
per year.
URGENT CALL TO ACTION
Please contact your representative as soon as possible and ask them to support Rep. Herrero's amendment to Article I (General Government) of the Appropriations bill to increase Aid to Local Libraries by $1.5 million per year in the Library and Archives Commission budget.
