Structural details, hydraulic characteristics, tables of general information, and photographs of all dams and reservoirs with 5,000 acre-feet or more capacity. Pt. 1, projects in the Canadian, Red, Sulphur, Cypress Creek, Sabine, and Neches basins, and the Neches-Trinity coastal basin; pt. 2, projects in the Trinity, San Jacinto, and Brazos basins; pt. 3, projects in the Colorado, Lavaca, Guadalupe, San Antonio, Nueces, and Rio Grande Basins and intervening coastal basins.
Identifies flood risks based upon hydrology, topology, precipitation, flood protection measures, and other data. Each map includes roads, lakes, railroads, streams, base elevations or depths, flood insurance risk zones, and regulatory floodways.
Review potential for flooding of each county or city and give the maximum water level for the 10, 50, and 500 year floodplain. Data is for lake levels and along streams and drainage patterns. Especially helpful when used with topographic maps.

For each landfill, provides the status of facility (active, inactive, permit revoked or expired, etc), total tons landfilled, remaining landfill capacity, in-landfill compaction rate, remaining landfill capacity in equivalent tons, and remaining landfill capacity in equivalent years. For each processor of solid waste, provides status (active, inactive, closed), type of waste, and number of tons handled in 2002.
