8th Annual Texas Library Conference on Raising Student
Achievement for School Administrators and Trustees

Wednesday • April 18, 2012
10:15 am to 1:45 pm • Hilton Americas - Houston

Librarians are encouraged to nominate their school administrators and trustees to attend this important conference. Invite them personally and, hopefully, get a commitment at that time. Complete the online nomination form. If an email confirmation is not received within 48 hours of the nomination submission, please contact event chair Cindy Buchanan.

Official invitations to administrators will be sent from TLA beginning mid-February. No administrators will be turned down; so if the recommended timeframe is not sufficient, nominations will be accepted through March 19

Administrators will be responsible for their own transportation expenses and will be invited as guests to attend any or all of the Texas Library Association Annual Conference, April 17 - 20 at Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center. Events and activities of special interest on that Wednesday include the opening general sessionand the extensive TLA exhibit hall.
