A fundraising activity for the TLA DISASTER RELIEF FUND, the calendar is also a celebration of the humor and complexity of that precious natural resource – men in library land! Let some of your favorite TLA guys accompany you through 2007 and half of 2008, month by month, in an exploration of the barely-seen side of TLA men. 

Who's in it? These 18 intriguing men -- all members of TLA -- include our president-elect and four past presidents:  Steve Brown, James Stewart, Joe Dahlstrom, Herman Totten, and Barry Bishop. From the public library collection, you'll also find SAPL's Ramiro Salazar, Antonio Martinez (Kerrville), LeRoy Robinson (Houston), Arro Smith (San Marcos), and Heath Boyer (Keller). We went on campus to add Bob Martin (TWU), Paul Coleman (W. Tx. A&M), and Walter Betts (TCU).  School librarian Jack Strawn (San Antonio), UT-Austin doctoral student Don Hamerly, vendor Johnny Carson (Brodart), advocate Patrick Heath (Boerne), and system director John Pecoraro (Abilene) complete the set.
